NBC News. I used to think that they were smarter. You know, in a smart as a fox kind of way. I kept seeing things like blatant lies, typos, and purposeful omissions. Their facade was slipping. It was unnerving. Sadly, it became clearer every day. They must not be all that smart.
Their constant one-sided reporting bent, their manipulative style. I thought it at least all pointed to some higher level of cognitive capabilities. I was so wrong. I have concluded that not only are they intellectually dysfunctional, but that intellectual dysfunction is how they got to where they are now. Their entire news enterprise is like a pepper spayed drunk, trying to act sober at a traffic stop. They’re caught. They know they’re guilty and yet? They keep right on with the same act. Sadly again, many keep declaring their sobriety.
This NBC News headline about Musk is purposefully feeding what’s left of their dwindling, hypnotized readers a pejorative salad by what they aren’t reporting.
First, is Musk making decisions and implementing policy as the headline implies? No. Musk is making recommendations to President Trump like a paid consultant. The President is implementing Musk’s recommendations. Musk doesn’t have or need any legislative or legal authority except permission from the President to look.
Second, you will notice in the comment section of this Facebook linked headline. NBC’s audience is largely clueless. Where is Elon Musk’s security clearance so he can see the federal government’s accounting numbers and payment practices?? Oh, dear heavens!! Riddle me this Batman. The man who runs SpaceX, which regularly configures and launches secret military payloads into space, might just have what? Say it ain’t so.. A top-secret security clearance, maybe? The bulk of the NBC supporting commenters are mad because he doesn’t. And yet, he does. As does every SpaceX engineer. Do you remember when the Biden DOJ sued Musk/SpaceX for not hiring illegals? There was quite a bit of laughter at SpaceX as the case was dismissed. (Illegals can’t get clearances in case you didn’t know.)
It’s sad. It’s like our education system has turned out too many people who can’t think for themselves.
