This is really outrageous. Trump has lost it this time. Right? Yeah, well, there are two ways to look at this. At least. Zelensky was punching way above his weight class. Way. Only because our war mongers had his back to the ridiculous. His swagger was based on his confidence that all those on the take with our arms dealers would certainly stand in the way of any dethroning that seemed to be heading his way. Russia, on the other hand, had no seat at the table. For years. In order to establish a settlement between two parties, you have to communicate with? Two parties. As further recipients of the Trump round house to Zelensky, you have the EU and NATO looking on in stunned amazement. So… you don’t like the way it’s going, EU? NATO? The second way to look at this is also functionally next level. Zelensky and Trump are working together, playing everyone. It’s complicated, but it prepares Zelensky for a hard crash landing at the negotiating table, which is going to happen. Zelensky can say, “Look, we had no other option.” It gives Putin face with small gains and an acceptable walk away, I can stop fighting now, position. A stretch? Certainly. Possible? Absolutely.
All the while, the left wing US media plays boomerang ping pong having to say weird things like “big balls,” or display pictures of Trump as king. Masterclass trolling.
I always say, recognize their music. Don’t dance to it. With Trump, at times, you’re left dancing to his music. You don’t know how or why, but there you are. By the time you figure it out, the song is over and he’s onto the next situation. With a brand new song. It’s pretty amazing. Try and keep your eyes open.
