Charlie Kirk. Who Was He Really? A Good Friend Of Mine Pointed This Out.

I’ve seen the healing power of love. God’s healing love. In my life and others. Grace. Light. True affection. Forgiveness. All healers of the soul. All, in my view, not possible without God. For the most part it seems to me that you either know what this is like and have experienced it or you don’t and haven’t. I’m hoping that you who are reading this both know and have experienced His love.

I’ve had great discussions with friends who I agree with on many things and also friends who are still friends, but we don’t agree on many things. Except being friends.

Occasionally, in those discussions, a light will go on for someone, including myself. You learn something. The knowledge, the truth about something you care about. It cleanses you.

John the Baptist met “sinners” at the waters edge. He baptized them in a ritual cleansing that cleared their souls of sin. In the same way water would wash the dirt from their bodies, their sins and its restraining power were washed away.

Charlie Kirk was a modern-day John the Baptist, but in a different way. He would invite sinners to the waterside of his discussions with them. He would free them from the darkness they were controlled by with a very simple explanation of truth. The truth, that if they chose to see it, would set them free. It was a washing away of darkness with words.

Charlie the Baptist would be an accurate description of our assassinated Brother.

We’ve seen the life changing power of his words.

Recognize the life changing power of yours.
