I think this whole meme thing is hilarious and rediculous and destructive and instructive and effective.
First of all it’s just funny. As in next level hilarious.
Second, it really is ridiculous. It is certainly not presidential. It is certainly junior high level food fight behavior.
Third, not only is it angering the left, it is boxing them into a corner where to bend on the shutdown vote would be complete humiliation and compitulation.
Fourth, it is instructive. How? By seeing the response on the left it reveals much about the individuals. Do they laugh, cry, whine, throw a fit?
But fifth, it is effective. It is truly turning the image of the democratic party into the international laughing stock that they in fact are. The DNC media, despite desperate efforts, just can’t keep up. It’s a messaging “tush push” on a national scale.
In summary, I don’t like this meme “diplomacy.”
