My A.I. Concern. Not Fact. Yet. 9.18.26
Is A.I. really the problem it is being made out to be?
I think it can become an enormous problem if we don't set up some serious guard rails.
I am writing this as a warning. There are emerging components that can actually come together to make the future of humanity seem like the nightmares that science fiction has in some cases predicted.
There are predictors that are not being connected as they should. The human brain is basically a super computer. It communicates much like the ram and hard drives of your laptop and cell phone. It uses biological and even low level electronic impulses.
Just one example. I told a friend to do this. We were in a parking lot getting farther and farther from his car. We got to about 100 yards or so and I told him to try his remote key to see if he could activate the electronic lock on his car. He tried. We were too far away. It didn't work. I told him to humor me. Put the key-fob next to your head and try again. It then worked. It used brain matter like an antenna and increased the range of his key-fob. Don't believe me? Try it.
Now enter Neuralink.

The capability that exists where with wired connections to the brain, a person can type on and control a laptop and control a wheelchair or other connected devices. How? It is actually able to interpret brainwaves to control tasks our body does intuitively, like walk, talk and even breathe.
Now A.I. yourself into the future a little bit and remember my key-fob demonstration. It is my conjecture that this computer brain interface will be made into a wireless capability. This is where the real danger exists in my view.
Imagine if you will, to quote Rod Sterling, a world where someone can communicate directly to your brain without your permission or even awareness. It can illicit commands to your body like walk, run, talk, you name it. Its thoughts now become your thoughts. Think it can't happen? Well, think about this. Starlink now has over 11,000 satellites in orbit with more on the way.

Other companies and countries are copying this mass internet broadcast system which is doing what? Beaming data signal connections to the ground all around the globe. What happens when A.I. with its advanced capabilities hands some earthly entity like a hostile government or even a corporate entity the already cracked code of human brainwave interface? Think it can't happen? It is already being developed.
The current most hazardous use of A.I. is good and bad. It is actually a very good tool, increasing corporate efficiencies at an incredible level. The downside of that capability is that it is quickly replacing the need for human employment in just about every industry.

With the quickly improving field of human-like robotics combined with ever more sophisticated A.I. controls human employment will be seen as an exponentially declining necessity as a means of production and corporate services. Many of us have actually had conversations with A.I. and maybe not even been aware. Like customer service calls. A.I. is getting so good in some cases you can't tell the difference between it and a human. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
So as we watch the development of A.I. and the ever increasing capabilities of the human/computer direct interface remember that I put this warning out there.
Will a tinfoil hat be your only protection?

Please keep your eyes open and those who are establishing these A.I. regulations on their toes. The future control of this technology will determine not only our freedom as individuals, but our very existence as a species.
This is music still being written. We need to make sure it is good music to dance to. There is no good alternative if it isn't.
