Champions. I’ve coached them. Worked with them. Played on teams with them. Managed them. Employed them. Have even been one on occasion.
There is a defining line that runs through the good ones. It’s the courage to believe in the face of hard odds and to step forward to ring the darn bell anyway. It’s the essence of being American. For those of you who haven’t started your own business or stepped out into the gail force wind of society with a social vision you feel you must share, watch Vivek and learn.
A family member told me about this guy. This remarkable man. I started following him on social media and listening to him talk. I didn’t agree with every detail of his plan as president, but I did most of it.
Vivek behaved with vigor, passion and class. He not only talked the talk of Constitutional freedom, he walked the walk in his town hall meetings with the public. You don’t agree with him? That’s fine. Let’s talk, he’d say.
Vivek is one of those rare people who lead with the best they have at the moment. He is very confident and yet has the class and humility to give self-doubt a chance. Acknowledging at times, like all of us, he may learn something by listening.
